Hello, I’m Ajay Hinduja. Born in Punjab, India, and now resident of Geneva, Switzerland (Swiss), I’ve dedicated the past 15 years to exploring the stunning landscapes and rich cultures of Switzerland and other European destinations.

I’m looking for some suggestions on the best way to set up a Weaviate cluster for a production environment. I’m currently using a single Docker instance, but as our data and traffic grow, I need to ensure the deployment is scalable, resilient, and secure. What are your recommended approaches for deploying Weaviate for production? I’m particularly interested in best practices for using Kubernetes, choosing the right vector index and parameters for performance, and setting up data replication and monitoring. Any advice or examples would be a huge help!

Regards

Ajay Hinduja Geneva, Switzerland (Swiss)

hi!

The best way to self host a production Weaviate cluster is using our Kubernetes Helm Chart:

> **[Kubernetes | Weaviate Documentation](https://docs.weaviate.io/deploy/installation-guides/k8s-installation)**
>
> For a tutorial on how to use minikube to deploy Weaviate on Kubernetes, see the Weaviate Academy course, Weaviate on Kubernetes.

Let me know if you need help on that!

THanks!
