Hi team , we deployed weaviate in 2 host machines and each machine runs 2 nodes . We placed all collections with 2 replica. What if one machine completely down and data cannot be recoverable ?

Hi Dharanish!

As you have replica factor of 2, all your data should be available in one of the clusters.

I know we are now implementing [RAFT](https://raft.github.io/), that will improve resilience of a Weavaite cluster in this exact scenario.

This is in our [Roadmap](https://weaviate.io/developers/weaviate/roadmap) and this new feature should land in 1.25 (our next major version).
