  • Deployment Method: k8 running in docker (local dev environment on OS X)
  • Multi Node? Number of Running Nodes: single node k8
  • Client Language and Version: english (though will be handling Japanese language for queries …)

Can you elaborate more on your issue?

While you can connect directly, the best practice here is to connect from your mobile app to a backend and then to Weaviate, and not directly.

Do you see any error logs from client?

Thanks for the prompt response. Noted about the backend and will look into AWS. This stage was some proof of concept work testing basic data retrieval which I thought could have been possible through the graphql API.
