Darshan Hiranandani : Updating Verba to Use New Embedding Models from OpenAI

Hello everyone,

I’m Darshan Hiranandani, Currently, still configured to use the older text2vec-openai model. I’m looking to update it to use the newer OpenAI models, such as text-embedding-3-small or text-embedding-3-large.

I attempted to update my build, but I’m encountering random errors that seem to be related to the front-end. I believe this issue might be tied to the update process or compatibility.

Since OpenAI’s new models are already supported in Weaviate, it would be great to see them integrated into Verba as well. Has anyone successfully made this update? If so, could you share your approach or any suggestions for resolving the errors?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!
