The insertMany batch function from the NodeJS package has suddenly started timing out. Nothing has changed in the code. My hunch is that there’s a system degradation affecting it, but I can’t find a Weaviate status page to check. My metrics cluster level metrics don’t show errors but it does show a drop in “batch size” (though I’m not clear what that even refers to). So is there a known issue right now with batch inserting objects into a cluster right now?

There are no general problems with WCD right now. Can you please write to support@weaviate.io including your cluster URL? Then we can have a look at your cluster specifically.
It’s lovely to have you here in our community, and we’re looking forward to supporting you
To add to what my colleague Dirk shared, I don’t see any particular issue on the global side of Weaviate Cloud. That said, it sounds like a cluster-wise issue, you may have run into an event that caused the node to take longer to respond than the given timeout allowed.
The good news is that since you’re on Weaviate Cloud, we can easily check everything and make sure this is resolved.
