Multiple shards at one node

Hi team, we know that having only one node and creating a schema with 2 shard place 2 shards to that node. Due to this, will face response delay compared to multiple nodes? (think like we don’t have huge number of parallel requests)

Hi @Dharanish ! Sorry for the delay here.

I don’t believe it will change that much, as the end of the day, they are all in the same node.

I know that, if you have a huge number of parallel requests specially when using multi tenant, it’s better to have more nodes and more shards, so you can increase the throughput and handle the multiple tenants.
