Hi team , we deployed weaviate in 2 host machines and each machine runs 2 nodes . We placed all collections with 2 replica. What if one machine completely down and data cannot be recoverable ?

As you have replica factor of 2, all your data should be available in one of the clusters.
I know we are now implementing RAFT, that will improve resilience of a Weavaite cluster in this exact scenario.
This is in our Roadmap and this new feature should land in 1.25 (our next major version).
